Calhoun Family Photos
October 25, 2008

A family my hubby, Tommy, has know for a long time wrote and wanted some family photos made. We were happy to come meet them in Guntersville, AL for the shoot. There is a beautiful lake right in the center of town and we decided to meet there to take some photos in the wooded area. It was so cold though, that we decided to move to the State Park's nice new building on the lake.

There are four girls in the family, and they look so much alike! It's easy to tell they are syblings! We had a great shoot, and even Lacey's husband said it was a lot more fun than he was expecting.

All the girls are so pretty and look so much alike! I just love their names, Lacey, Laura, Linsey, and Leigha.
One man, 5 girls!
Of course, Josh, Lacey's husband, likes to be a little crazy.

and a little more crazy...but he did straighten up for a few.
Josh's brother, who married Laura, is crazy too. They had a double wedding, Josh&Lacey, Laura&Phillip.
The whole gang. Thanks for putting up with the cold! I know it was worth it in the end though.

Brian and Sara Grieve Engagement Session

Brian and Sara
Engagement Session - October 19, 2008

Brian and Sara called for a quick engagement session; It was only four weeks before their wedding!

For their session, we went to the river in downtown Knoxville, and then to the University of Tennessee Gardens. The gardens were my favorite place, and we got lots of fantastic shots. Even for October, the flowers were beautiful.

I love this set up; It's so romantic. What a killer look!
Aren't the gardens amazing? My mom loves gardens, and I love taking photos at her house, but this is the go to place for Knoxville.

I'm starting to experiment with textures. Is it good?

We worked for two hours and the ended up with about 150 photos from which to choose. I always go overboard!

Marcus and Hannah's Wedding

September 27th, 2008
On our way to Gulf Shores, AL for vacation, we stopped in the Muscle Shoals, AL area to take photos of Hannah and Marcus' wedding.

It was a beautiful, sunny day, and we started with the boys first in front of a fun waterfall. We had to be quick though, because our site for photos was the site of another wedding! The boys were willing to do whatever, including harassing the groom!
The girls were absolutly stunning, and also willing to do anything! That's why I was able to take the most AMAZING bridal portrait I've ever made. The background is a carousel the girls obligingly entered for some portraits.

Hannah and Marcus are very fun, and such a sweet little couple.
They even have matching smiles!
In the end, we could see that they had the best day ever, and we were so happy to be a part of it.

But even happier to be on our way to the beach! (Sorry guys)
