Piper Rose turns three!

Some of our very best friends came to visit on their way back home to Virginia and with a baby girl as adorable as Piper Rose, we had to do a session! Considering the rapidly approaching darkness and a certain son of mine who kept wanting to get in all the photos ( he finally did make it into a few the little stinker), Piper was the perfect model!

That girl is going to grow up with some attitude just like her fabulous mom! (You know I love you :) ) She was posing here and there listening to any and all direction; even when she didn't want to model, a quick offer of an m&m treat brought an immediate smile and cooperative spirit.

I love this girl! And look forward to photographing all the big stages in her life.

June 11, 2010.... and WE HAVE INTERNET!

So after too many months without internet (except for super slow over my telephone), we FINALLY got set up with Comcast today. I'm so happy to announce that I am now fully interneted (pretty sure that's not a word) and couldn't be more excited to update the blog. Since we moved into our new house 2 1/2 months ago I've felt so disconnected from the world having to go back and forth from mom's to use the internet, and so I feel back and ready to take on the blog -o- sphere.

I still haven't taken photos of the house to post; I keep waiting for my house to be clean and organized, but I'm pretty sure having a two year old will make sure that never happens.

We are back!!

So after many months of delay, we are finally back! If you've been wondering where I've been for so long (although by this point I'm pretty sure no one looks at this blog anymore), we've been building a house. I promise to post photos soon. Well... as soon as I get everything set up; I've just started unpacking boxes, and we still have a lot of yard work to take care of.

Unfortunately, my photography has suffered greatly in the nine months it's taken us to build our home. (Although, I do have a fabulous home office now, and I just can't wait to fill the walls with photographs.) Practically all the photos taken of our construction and our son have been taken by my mom. I'll have to steal a few to let everyone in on what our last nine months has been filled with.

Anyways, Cohen just turned two April 19th, and I finally made some time to take a few photographs. Here's a sneak peak of his session. And these were made in his new room!

In July, we went down to Huntsville, Alabama to photograph the Edwards family. You may recognize the girls; they were part of my fashion photo shoot back in November. With two anniversary's and Haleigh's graduation coming up, they decided it was time for some new photographs! I'm so glad they called me because we had a blast taking them.
